PTU Biomechanics Course 1.0 Nine Modules

Stop guessing.
See the body as a system. Coach with clarity.

Most trainers are taught to chase. Sore knee. Tight hip. Bad shoulder. You end up fixing one thing while the real driver hides somewhere else in the body. PTU teaches you to read the whole structure. Every client starts to make sense.

Who this is for

For coaches who want to actually help.

If you work with real people and you want to program for the body in front of you, this course is for you. Not textbook bodies. Real ones.

I.

Personal Trainers

You have clients who plateau. Clients in pain. Clients whose form never quite clicks. You want to know why. You want to program for the person in front of you, not a generic template.

II.

Strength and Performance Coaches

Your athletes keep breaking down in the same places. You want a framework that connects how they stand, walk, and load. Coach the system. Stop chasing the symptom.

III.

Movement Professionals

Pilates, yoga, group fitness, corrective exercise. If movement is your craft, you need a lens that ties the whole body together into one clean read.

IV.

Physical Therapists and Clinicians

You know the anatomy. You want a connected structural framework that bridges assessment to loading. The course closes the gap between the clinic and the gym floor.

What makes PTU different

Most courses teach you information.
PTU teaches you a system.

Information piles up. A system compounds. PTU is built around structure. How the body organizes itself from the foot up. Everything you learn connects back to one way of reading a human being.

Most courses

More information. Same guesswork.

  • Anatomy taught joint by joint with no connecting thread.
  • Assessments that flag problems but never explain them.
  • Exercises chosen by symptom, not by what the body actually needs.
  • Theory you cannot translate to Monday's client.
  • Endless continuing ed that never compounds into real skill.
The PTU method

One framework. Every client makes sense.

  • Structure as the organizing principle. Foot. Hip. Ribcage. Shoulder.
  • Assessments that show you the driver, not just the symptom.
  • Programming built around what the system actually needs.
  • Immediate application. Use it with your next client.
  • Built by a practicing coach, for coaches who see real people.

Course curriculum

Nine modules. One system.

Each module builds on the last. You start with how the body structures itself and finish with full programming. By the end, the system is yours.

01

Structure. The Starting Point.

Every body organizes itself around a structural template. Learn to read that template. The way the ribcage, pelvis, and ground come together. This is the foundation for reading every client who walks in your door.

02

Relative Motion

Nothing in the body moves alone. Learn how joints move in relation to each other. Read the chain of compensations up and down the body as one connected story instead of a list of problems.

03

Gait

Walking is the ultimate full body assessment. Break down the phases of gait. Learn what each one tells you about your client's structure, rotation, and how they load. All before they ever touch a barbell.

04

Lower Body. Hip Biomechanics.

The hip is where the ground meets the torso. Understand how it rotates, extends, and loads. The compensations you see at the knee and the low back are almost always a hip story.

05

The Foot

The foot is the first piece of information your client gives you every step of their life. Learn to read the foot. It tells you what is happening at the hip, the pelvis, and the ribcage above it.

06

Upper Body. Shoulder Mechanics.

The shoulder rides on the ribcage. If the structure underneath it is off, the shoulder never truly moves well. Overhead pressing, pulling, and reaching problems almost always start further down.

07

Connective Tissue (ECM)

Bone and muscle are only part of the picture. The connective tissue network shapes how your clients move, recover, and respond to everything you program. Fascia, tendons, the extracellular matrix. This module explains all of it.

08

Assessment

A simple, repeatable assessment you can run in about ten minutes. Know exactly what to look at, in what order, and how every finding connects back to the structural system you have learned.

09

Programming

This is where the system turns into sessions. Turn your assessment into smart programming choices. Exercise selection, position, load, tempo. Every workout you write actually serves the person in front of you.

04 / 07
After the course

What you will actually be able to do.

I.

Read a client in ten minutes and see what their body is actually asking for.

II.

Explain to any client, in plain language, why they move and feel the way they do.

III.

Stop guessing with programming. Make choices rooted in structure, not trends.

IV.

Connect the foot, hip, ribcage, and shoulder into one coherent read of the body.

V.

Pick exercises by what the person in front of you needs. Not by a generic template.

VI.

Charge what you are worth. Clients pay for clarity, results, and someone who actually sees them.

The community
Live on Skool

You are not just getting a course. You are joining a community.

The PTU private community on Skool is where the learning keeps going. Real coaches. Real client questions. Real feedback. Every week. The system gets stronger the more you use it with other coaches using it too.

  • Case Study Reviews Post a client, a video, or an assessment finding. Get a second set of eyes from Jason and the community.
  • Ongoing Q&A With Jason Stuck on how to apply a module? Ask inside the community. Get a real answer, not a template.
  • Member Discussions and Wins See how other coaches are using the framework. Share what is working. Sharpen your eye by watching others practice.
  • Continued Education Drops New breakdowns, resource posts, and applied examples added on an ongoing basis. Long after you finish the course.
Included free.  With every enrollment tier.

Common questions

Questions, answered.

No. This course is built for personal trainers, strength coaches, and movement professionals first. That said, physical therapists and clinicians take it all the time. The connected system approach is not taught in most clinical programs. If you work with bodies and you want a deeper lens, you are the right fit.

Same nine module curriculum. The self paced option gives you full lifetime access to move through on your own. The live cohort adds scheduled teaching calls with Jason, real time Q&A, case breakdowns on real clients, and a community of coaches moving through the material with you.

Cohort dates are announced as they are scheduled. Once you enroll you will receive the upcoming cohort start date and full schedule. If you want the material now and plan to join a cohort later, start with self paced. You can upgrade.

Most coaches work through the self paced version in four to eight weeks. It depends on how deep you go with the case material. The live cohort runs on a schedule so everyone moves through the content together. You get lifetime access either way, and most coaches come back to it over and over.

Yes. The course is built for immediate application. By Module 3 you will already be reading bodies differently. By the end you will have a full assessment and programming workflow ready for your next client.

CEU availability varies by certifying body. Email jasoncolleyptu@gmail.com with your certification and we will let you know what is currently approved.

If you have a question about refund terms, email jasoncolleyptu@gmail.com before enrolling. Because of the nature of digital course access, refund requests are handled case by case.

Yes. Email jasoncolleyptu@gmail.com with your original purchase and we will apply your self paced payment toward the live cohort price.
